The Classic Snow Orb

A translucent white speckle, accented with transparent colors. These round balls will contrast with a darker background, and add a soft gleam in any light. Since these balls are hand blown from a gather of molten glass they are thicker on the bottom, and sturdier than machine made ornaments. Although they are glass, and will break we make them to survive in our 7 year old's hands! He has been handling our collection since he was three, and they have taken the wear and tear in stride!

The Tear Drop

We could label these 'NEW for Fall 2008!', because they are just making their debut on this page, but in all honesty we have been making them for a very long time. Long enough to tell you that they are extremely popular. Visitors who see them on our tree usually can't resist handling them, and often take several away as souvenirs regardless of the season. We have not offered the Translucent White before, but they are our personal favorite. There are about 150 of the Tear Drops on our tree, almost exclusively Translucent White and Aurora. The gentle sparkle they shed throughout the tree is a quite sight to see.
