Salad Sets

New for 2007 are our salad bowls. Murrini and cane in ever varying patterns, available only to our retail customers. Bowls are available in several sizes, round, ruffled, and our new, experimental square. Due to the nature of murrinni, and my methods, no two bowls will ever be exactly alike. The selection will vary as the season and whim takes us, so please feel free to peruse the Available section.

Individual salad serving bowls are available by special order. I make them to order, so you can request any number to suit your table setting needs. Since these bowls are hand made they will not be exactly the same size. At our house the small bowls are often used to hold the various salad additives so that guests, or family members, can customize their salads.

Our hand blown glass is food safe, but only for cold foods. Our glass formula contains no lead, and is safe for salad! Hot foods will cause localized heat, and stress, which will cause the glass to break. It might not happen the first time, or second, but it will eventually happen. It can be quite dramatic, and hazardous to your health. Please see our FAQ sheet for more info.
